Weathervane is a casual dining restaurant with seafood focus. It was just a summer place that folks traveled to for fresh seafood, tasty chowders, lobsters and other yummy treats from their old family recipes. Bea greeted all with a cheerful hello and a genuine smile. Though times have changed the tradition carries on. Our guests come in to sit back, relax and enjoy the food as it always has been, freshly prepared, and served simply with a genuine smile.

Location: Weirs Beach which is a popular tourist destination and there are other J-1 students that live and work in the community in the summertime. Weirs Beach, or “The Weirs” as it is referred to by locals, is named for a wide, sandy, public beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. Adjacent to the beach and comprising the center of the village are a boulevard and boardwalk that run along a quarter mile stretch of Lakeside Ave. Students are also provided a list of events happening locally throughout the summer
